Discover the Beaujolais Crus paired with a typical Burgundian meal
Located just North of Lyon, the vineyards spread across a magnificent landscape of hillsides covered in century-old vines.
The world-famous Beaujolais wine is essentially linked to the “Beaujolais Nouveau”, the “new” wine released in November. This wine is as popular as it is festive, friendly and joyful.
But Beaujolais can be a more serious wine when you get to know its 10 crus (classified villages) with romantic names such as : Saint-Amour, Julienas, Brouilly, Morgon..) where Gamay grapes reign supreme,full-bodied vinous nectars, with dark, ruby-red colours, and aromas of red berries and plums.
