Sancerre tasting with an expert, custom tailored to your schedule!

My wife and I had a fantastic day trip in early October from Paris to Sancerre, where we visited both small and large vineyards and learned more than we ever knew there was to know about Sancerre! We had a delicious lunch at a restaurant with a breathtaking view, truly enjoyed getting to know Geraldine throughout the day, and never felt rushed at all. Her worldly experience with wine enabled her to put things in terms that we could easily understand. She was very responsive over email during the planning stages and shared recommendations and ideas based on our interests. We hope to visit the area again and would absolutely book another trip with Geraldine!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience than what Geraldine offers in her Sancerre tour. This is not just a ‘wine tour,’ it’s a guided journey through time in a region cultivated from some of the most incredible vineyard landscapes on earth. Geraldine’s love of wine is deep-seated from her early days growing up in Champagne, and she’ll share how her palate has evolved over time from living many places abroad. Her vast knowledge of French art, food, history and culture is thorough, enough to make the conversation in the car ride from Paris an easy and enjoyable one. Pre-booking, her communication was excellent and she is willing to work with you on agenda that suits. Her prompt, early arrival for pickup is designed to give you the fullest possible day in the Loire Valley, and her contacts with local wine and cheese-makers provide an in-depth tutorial you just can’t get with ‘big bus tours.’ You’ll leave Sancerre with a new appreciation for it’s culture and history, not just associating it as a name on the bottle. We wouldn’t hesitate to book another outing with Geraldine the next time we are in the Paris area.
