I was born in Champagne in a family of growers.  You all know the major brands: Veuve Cliquot, Moêt&Chandon, Ruinart…. but do you know the small growers?  There are more than 5000 of them! How to select a very good quality value “champagne de vigneron”, on which criteria? the diversity of champagnes is the same as for the wines.  Each grower has his own style.  In addition, champagne is an excellent companion with food but … not any kind of champagne
