Farmer’s Market Tour (1h)
10am: Meet at the Café Antoine (16th Arrondissement), an Art Nouveau café, decorated by Hector Guimard the famous architect known for designing the Parisian subway entrance. Enjoy a coffee or tea with your host, Géraldine.
Participate in a culinary tour of the local open-air marketto see a wide array of food. This is where French people shop for the freshest of products from local producers. Consequently, most of the ingredients purchased during the guided tour will be used during the cooking class, and eaten during the lunch.
Cooking Class (1h)
After the market tour, the group will take a 10 minutes stroll to Geraldine’s apartment, located in a typical Haussmanian building in the heart of the 16th. Geraldine will lead you through the preparation of a traditional lunch comprised of an entrée (starter), plat (main course) and dessert. Kids and teenagers are welcome as they love preparing the sweet course!

Lunch (1h)
Learn how to set a traditional French table and enjoy an aperitif (pre-meal drink), French sparkling wine for instance, accompanied by Gougères (savory pastry) while your lunch slowly cooks in the oven. Your host, a certified wine expert, will choose a bottle of wine to accompany your lunch and teach you the basics of wine tasting. Perfect for our foodies!
