Great wine & food experience! (from TripAdvisor)
“I searched for quite a while for a good wine tasting my friends and I would enjoy since were only in Paris for a day, so our schedule was tight. When I contacted Geraldine she was very nice, helpful, and quick to respond! From there the experience only got better. The Tour Market & Cooking class & Wine tasting was excellent. Geraldine was very knowledgeable about it all and open to our thoughts as novice wine drinkers. Upon leaving, she graciously helped us order an Uber. This was one of the best traveling experiences I’ve ever had :)”

Experience a local open-air market like a true Parisian! In addition, participate in a typical french cooking class and lunch with our expert.
FARMER'S MARKET TOUR – 1H
10am: Meet at the Café Antoine (16th Arrondissement), an Art Nouveau café, decorated by Hector Guimard the famous architect known for designing the Parisian subway entrance. Enjoy a coffee or tea with your host, Géraldine.
Participate in a culinary tour of the local open-air market to see a wide array of food. This is where French people shop for the freshest of products from local producers. Consequently, most of the ingredients purchased during the guided tour will be used during the cooking class, and eaten during the lunch.
COOKING CLASS – 1H30
After the market, the group will take a 10mn stroll to Geraldine's apartment, located in a 19th century building in the heart of the 16th. Geraldine will lead you through the preparation of a traditional lunch comprised of an entrée (starter), plat (main course) and dessert. Kids and teenagers love preparing the sweet course!
Sample menu : Fresh salmon verrine, provencal Tian with seabass, Iles Flottantes
LUNCH – 1H
Set a traditional French table and enjoy an aperitif (pre-meal drink), French sparkling wine for instance, accompanied by Gougères (savory pastry) while your lunch slowly cooks in the oven. Your host, a certified wine expert, will choose a bottle of wine to accompany your lunch and teach you the basics of wine tasting. Perfect for our foodies!
